Private interior design - the individual look for the home
Where we live, feeling good plays a very special role. It is the spatial shell for our retreat into the personal - the place where we can be ourselves, welcome friends, celebrate family events and switch off. Since 2010, destilat has been developing architecture and interior design for private life - rooms that create a sense of security, realise individual living dreams and help to spatially structure everyday family life.
destilat interior design - design with character
Every interior design by destilat is a search for the individuality of its clients. And so for the interior designers in Vienna and Linz there are no standard solutions for flats, penthouse furnishings, living rooms, bathrooms + wellness, kitchen planning, terrace design or house architecture. How old are the people for whom we are building and what is their life situation? These questions are just as central for architects and interior designers as those about the individual needs and interests of the future residents. After all, it makes a big difference whether singles, couples, families or even several generations live together in one place; whether a property is used on a daily basis or only at weekends; whether it is located in the middle of a greenfield site or in a densely built-up urban area; whether it is spread out in structures steeped in history or planned from scratch on the drawing board. In its interior design office with offices in Vienna and Linz, destilat has realised countless examples with the most diverse design approaches for flat interior design, kitchen planning, penthouse design and all other categories over a decade.
Giving space to the personality
Room for development does not have to have huge dimensions - the job of the interior designer is to create a sensible and inspiring architectural framework. What do people need to be able to live out their aspirations in the penthouse interior and feel comfortable? And with which destilat living concept can individual wishes be realised within the space and budget limits? Where there is relaxed space for cooking and eating, communal meals and stimulating conversations take place significantly more often. Enough space for each individual prevents territorial disputes. And when houses offer ample storage space for utensils, toys and odds and ends of each family member, tidying up and keeping order is definitely easier.
destilat characterises interior design as a principle of order that is derived from the personal needs of the residents and is not defined by existing partition walls and traditional conditions. The interior designers from Vienna and Linz often turn former floor plans upside down, open up room boundaries and completely restructure the available square metres, especially when renovating old buildings. The interior designers create innovative concepts of use and moods that are hardly conceivable a priori. The spatial structure experiences a surprising impression and opens up a refreshingly new perception.
