The floorboards, ceiling paintings and double doors of the 140 m² flat in the old building were carefully renovated. The visual and haptic qualities of the newly added elements were not to be inferior to the historical model by any means.
High-quality fillers, wood materials, aluminium and glass form the material potpourri of the architectural implants. In this way, a new bedroom, a new bathroom and an adjoining sauna area were created. The wet area is set off by a solid plinth.
The open fireplace, the centre of the flat, is also new. Jumping back and forth, an ensemble of cubatures is created that impressively stages the blazing fire against the dark background. The lawn in front of it invites you to flooring, to living on the floor. Vintage furniture from the sixties and seventies forms a bridge between the old setting and new ideas.
