KLIPP, one of the largest hairdressing salon providers in Austria, launched a new product under the name "Haarwuchs - Die Kopfhautspezialisten von KLIPP" (Hair Growth - The Scalp Specialists of KLIPP) with its own small salons throughout Austria. The interior concept for the new brand was to be clearly structured, medical-looking, but not too clinical and not at all esoteric, bright, friendly and inviting.
The corporate identity served as the design starting point for the concept - both in the colour choice of the smoky green shades and in the design language of the vertical lines, which are repeated as striking logo elements in the design of destilat.
In order to meet the desired intimacy of the hair growth treatment, destilat designed a structure of individual, semicircular bunks that can be closed as needed by means of floor-to-ceiling textile room dividers and just as quickly merge back into an open room structure. Customers can thus enjoy their personal scalp service in a private atmosphere, undisturbed and shielded from the rest of the shop. They are welcomed at an open entrance and checkout area with a cosy waiting lounge. Simple shelves are always elegantly integrated into the room structure to present the brand's product line in a subtle and memorable way.
Natural stone, elegant lamps, striking seating furniture, simple design and a harmonious lighting and colour concept underline the value of the product and the service. Cleanliness, professionalism and trust are the overriding parameters that were translated into destilat's interior design. The result is a place that combines competent advice and a relaxed atmosphere.
