Located directly on the shores of Lake Neusiedl, the event hall at Neuer Strand in Breitenbrunn offers space and atmosphere for events of different sizes and orientations. destilat have developed the simple, functional and sustainable interior design for it, which is restrained in terms of design, structurally flexible in adapting to the various requirements and logically integrated into the overall structure, including catering. The subtle color palette of light green, grey and brown tones, which is reflected in the multi-faceted structures of the individual ecological materials, can already be seen in the spacious entrance area. With the curved reception desk, the interior designers reference the waterfront location and also pick up on the wave from the Neuer Strand brand logo. The interior designers positioned storage space and functional areas out of sight, giving the room a special sense of calm: the green-panelled pillar conceals a small kitchen that can be operated from the rear; wardrobe compartments and hanging options disappear behind an elegant chain curtain that runs all the way around and is almost room-high, like a homogeneous wall covering.
The event hall itself is equipped with a stage and media technology and can be furnished in different sizes with both dinner tables and auditorium seating. A characteristic design feature is the ring-shaped lighting fixtures, which are reminiscent of the concentric circles that form when a stone is thrown into the water. Circular hinges also offer the possibility of zoning individual niches with floor-to-ceiling curtains for a more compartmentalized use of space. The rounded shape of destilat's lectern is also reminiscent of life on the lake: like the enduring wooden pillars in the water, it marks a fixed point in the room.
