UPC Shops

Shop concept

Year: 2015-2018
Status: implemented
Client: UPC

In the course of expanding the portfolio to include furniture telephony, destilat was commissioned by UPC to develop a new shop concept. UPC's own shops in Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt, Innsbruck, Wiener Neustadt and Dornbirn were converted between 2015 and 2018.

The aim of the new corporate architecture concept is to encourage customers to visit the UPC shops, as well as to make it possible to experience the brand and product world in the UPC shops and bring them closer to the customer.

The scenery of the new shops is embedded in a very neutral setting.

White, functional furnishings for service and flexible product presentation elements that accommodate the various attachments such as TV screens, boards for mobile phones, showcases, the UPC Offers and other accessories. The generous presentation of the UPC brand is coordinated with this through graphic elements. Two different types of desks were developed for better customer usability. One is a sitting desk, which is used in the service shops, and the other is a standing desk, which is available to the sales staff.

The new shop concept emphasises the dynamism and complexity of the UPC world and highlights the brand values.

The communication concept in the space emotionally stages the brand image, the products and the values of UPC to create a diverse world of experience and to reflect the corporate philosophy. The new shop design creates an optimal brand staging as well as a high recognition value and conveys the innovative multimedia world of UPC.
