Statesmanlike opening
of the wine manufactory Clemens Strobl
If you had asked us 30 years ago which personalities we would definitely like to meet one day, the names of cool rock stars, designers and architects from Milan, London and New York would probably have come up. And then Feuersbrunn am Wagram suddenly turned out to be such a hot spot, where we were almost awestruck for a moment because we realised whose fan we are today.
Our long-standing client Clemens Strobl opened his winery in a very festive way, where we were allowed to design the manufactory, the historic estate and the bathhouse. We found ourselves in the company of our Federal President Alexander van der Bellen. We chatted in an unagitated and refined manner about the craft of winemaking and the materials and designs we tried to use to match the terroir of the vineyards in Wagramer; accompanied, of course, by the outstanding Rieslings, Veltliners and Pinots of the Strobl family.
In addition to the projects with their wonderful challenges, for us at destilat it is clearly the people who make our tasks so exciting - clients, cooperation partners and remarkable personalities you meet through your work.
