Inspiration is everything

We usually don't see much of the historic old town, Cologne Cathedral or the fish market when we are in the German metropolis. The reason for our regular trips to Cologne is also another - this year we were again at imm Cologne, the annual furniture fair, to look, discover and walk many, many kilometres.
We never know exactly what we are looking for on the 240,000m2 with 1,250 international exhibitors beforehand, but we see it then and somehow we also carry it home in our luggage. For inspiration is not an instrument that can be planned, rather it arises by chance and in the interplay of what one is or knows. "Inspiration" is the literal translation from Latin - a term we are quite comfortable with because it gives things and projects something personal and individual.
Individuality is probably also the common thread running through all our interiors and designs. We take the liberty of foregoing a rigid formal language, of always thinking things differently despite our experience and of reinventing ourselves a little with every project. This automatically puts our clients and customers with their personalities in the foreground. Nevertheless, we have developed an unmistakable CI over the years - apparently quite incidentally.
