Camillo Sitte Gasse

Year: 2014
Status: realised
Client: Immobilia Obergruber

Sometimes it is all about creating an “empty stage” with ideal structures, on which future shoppers and residents can let their individuality flow freely. On Camillo Sitte Gasse at the Rudolfsheim Fünfhaus, destilat was commissioned by a real estate group to renovate and revitalise several apartments, which date back to the time of industrial expansion. Six existing residential units were completely redeveloped and turned in to four apartments, each with a new floor plan and 50 m2living space. It was made sure that the old flats with their stylistic elements of the that era – like the Viennese herring-bone-patterned parquet flooring and the high double doors including their brass fittings – get their authentic flair back while being equipped with the amenities of state-of-the-art living comfort.

Elegant bathrooms with Italian stoneware and subtle white kitchen units with all the necessary technical comforts have moved into these light-flooded old flats. What may seem raw at a first glance reveals itself as a delicately designed and precisely realised sales condition that makes these apartments particularly attractive for the real estate market, once you take a closer look.
