The Aunty floor lamp interprets a classic luminaire type: a floor lamp with a spherical base and cylindrical brocade shade. It becomes visible as a two-dimensional silhouette on the mirror cube. Here, the image of a luminaire itself becomes the light source - an idiosyncratic application of the principle "form follows function".
