Interior Design - Office

Hammerl Real Estate

Vienna

Year: 2012
Status: realised
Client: Hammerl Immobilien Management

For Hammerl Immobilien Management GmbH, destilat developed a customised interior design office concept for the new premises in Vienna's 23rd district. The newly designed office layout combines the requirement for maximum usable storage space for archiving files with fast access and communication as well as workplace solutions that support teamwork. The interior design concept on the one hand borrows from the theme of renovation and on the other hand plays with the newly designed logo of the company, which can be read as a stylised pan head.

For example, large panels were designed as sliding doors, which are adorned with specially developed graphic patterns resulting from the overlapping of various wallpaper patterns from different eras. This design idea refers to the work process when renovating flats.

Furthermore, the square from the logo was varied as a foil on the glass surfaces of the partition walls and milled as a fine line structure into various pieces of furniture, such as the desk. For the realisation of the project, the entire top floor of the building with its inventory from the 80s was gutted and restored with a new room layout.
